One court to have preference for training/coaching or beginner lessons Sunday 1.00pm- 4.00pm GC Optional Sunday afternoon for GC open session may be arranged between members directly. |
Killara Croquet Club encourages all members to maintain or improve their game by practice, mentoring/coaching or by pitting themselves against better players.
Members are invited and encouraged to use the lawns at times where Club play is not scheduled.
Match play (for example) can be organised between the competitors themselves.
From time to time this schedule may be suspended for specified competitions for Croquet NSW, Pennants matches or internal Club competition. Members will receive notice of these suspensions, and your tolerance is requested.
For GC players there will be a tea break between games under the new schedule. For each session, preference will be given for those who have not yet played however members who play at 9.00am may continue in the second session if numbers allow.
Members playing in the second session are encouraged to come early and participate in the ‘tea break” between sessions.
Given the review of playing conditions the Committee has now set a maximum playing temperature of 35 Celsius after which play must cease. Personal considerations must be made at lower temperatures to facilitate personal health, and members are reminded to be sun safe and well hydrated.
For all players, we now have a growing Club and as such the Sessions will be time limited and play should cease at the score when the Session time is up.
If further Sessions are not coming up, then play may continue.
